I am Bengali/Scottish, but born and raised in Montréal, Canada. I have an M.Sc. in ecology and evolution and I’m TEFL certified. Growing up in Québec, I was immersed in French from a very young age. I also spent 4 years studying and working at Université de Montréal and UQÀM. I learned
Spanish and Bengali as foreign languages. My interest in languages developed through experiencing different cultures at home and while travelling. Since 2016 I have been travelling between Bangladesh and Canada. I like being active, spending time outside and I also enjoy gardening.
I have been teaching for 8 years. I have taught students from a wide variety of backgrounds. I have a great relationship with my long-term students and I love seeing them improve and progress on their learning journey. I try to find out as much as I can about my students and their interests, so that I can design lessons that they will find fun and interesting ! picture
